Steps to become a Member of CHEAR
1. Watch the New Family Video (only if you did not attend Preview Day or Open House)                                             
2. New Family Application (this form) $25 non refundable application fee
3. Complete a Consent to Background Check for each parent/grandparent joining CHEAR
4. Contact References and Send Form 
5. Await acceptance for an In Person Interview (All family must attend)
6. Await letter of Acceptance into CHEAR. 
7. Complete Membership Registration and Pay Membership 
*Membership Payment will depend on this form's date of submission!

Service Hours

In the 2024-25 school year, each family participating in the CHEAR Scholastic Co-op will be required to complete 24 service hours during the school year.  If your application is accepted, do you agree to complete these service hours? This is 24 hours total per family. Both parents are able to help take care of the hours.

 If possible, one should be another home schooling family (preferably a member of CHEAR) who has known you and your children for at least one year.  The second must be a pastor, teacher, Sunday School teacher, etc.   

Do not include family members.

Interview Dates

What day would you like to attend the family interview? 

It is imperative that you make this interview time a priority. A lot of preparation goes into these interviews. There is no guarantee for a reschedule. 

Location is different from Co-op location!
